Thanks for the memories: At our meeting last night, Denis presented me with a "token" of appreciation for serving my time running the club. It is a GIGANTIC framed jersey—make that THREE jerseys in one GIGANTIC frame! Denis had one of every style of club jersey over the years I was president put into a GIGANTIC (it is big) frame. You can't appreciate it without actually seeing it. I am hoping George can post one of the pictures he took last night to so you will see I am not exaggerating when I say it is GIGANTIC!
I want to thank the entire club for a terrific gift! It really is neat and it will always mean a lot to me. Denis did a ton of work, from soliciting the jerseys (thanks to Angelo and Doug Hale) to getting it framed (three times!!!) to hauling it around. I certainly appreciate the jerseys and I had a great time running the club. The best thing about me no longer being president is that Denis is, and there is no question the club will be better for it. If you don't believe Denis likes to do things in a BIG way—come see my jerseys! Thanks again!
