Feel like a kid again

09/15/06 by Nathan Blice

When was the last time you got to ride your bike thru all your neighbors lawns, driveways, sidewalks, porches and flower beds; FEEL like you're making a nuisance of yourself and ride where ever the heck you wanted?

Thanks to Shawn Adams, for putting on the cyclocross training group on Thursdays at Reagan Park in Medina. There are actually legitimate bike trails there...I never knew that and thought Vultures Knob was the nearest set of trails for that kind of stuff. Give it a try...I'm sure a road bike isn't the only bike you've got sitting around!

National Time Trial Junior Men 17-18

July 6, 2006 by Jim Mullins

Jimmy Macdonald finished the TT in 43rd place out of 100 entries. He rode the extremely difficult course in a time of 34 minutes 36 seconds. The course features some extremely steep and difficult climbs, think Oak Hill and Boston Mills West (the Beast) only longer (from what I hear). Nonetheless, great job Jimmy.

State TT Volunteers

June 26, 2006 by Denis Osowski

Our big State TT event is coming up on June 25 and we need all hands to pull this baby off. This is way bigger and more complicated than the RATL events and we will need approximately 50 volunteers.

While Team Summa is going to be helping us out in a big way as the co-promoter, we will still need about 20–30 club members or friends thereof to help perform tasks such marshalling, rider holding, directing parking traffic, and generally providing excellent customer service to the riders who come out.

If you can help us with the event, please contact George Liolios.
