The Licking County Crit, a six turn flat course and it's closed. No cars and yellow lines just turns and intervals. Last year I did this race and finished 3rd and you always want to return with a good finish. This year I did two races the Master race and the 3-4. The Master race was combined with three or four other fields, Junior, Women, and Citizens, and totaled seven riders. I lapped everyone in the first 20 minutes and got warmed up for the 3-4 race. The 3-4 race had 11 riders 5 Savage Hill, 2 Summit, (Jim Gilmore made the trip down, he finish 4th last year and was in the brake with me, the long term memory still works), 1 Brakeaway and 3 others that were never up front, so who cares. SH rided Jim Matson who's been beating up on the 4's all spring in the Ohio Valley showed up and beat up on the 3-4 today lapping the field in a solo effort from the start. With only Jim, the Brakeaway rider and me to tow everyone the entire race. I finished 4th but the next time I'll go with the early move in a small field.
